Company Profile
Building green functional materials from non-metallic mineral processing
Fenghong started from refined bentonite and has expanded into high-performance material systems including lithium hectorite, boehmite, hydrotalcite, and polyamide wax for coatings, adhesives, new energy, personal care, and related applications.
Zhejiang Fenghong New Materials Co., Ltd. was established as a joint-stock company in 2008. Its predecessor, Zhejiang Fenghong Clay Chemical Co., Ltd., was formed in 1996. The bentonite business can be traced back to Anji County No.1 Bentonite Mine in 1978, spanning nearly half a century. Headquartered in Anji, Zhejiang, the company integrates R&D, scaled manufacturing, and domestic and international sales in non-metallic mineral deep processing.
From early bentonite products, Fenghong has expanded into high-performance materials including lithium hectorite, boehmite, hydrotalcite, and polyamide wax. Under the Fenghong, Huate, Jingyi, and Clay brands, the portfolio covers more than ten series and over three hundred products for coatings, inks, oilfield drilling, engineering plastics, biomedicine, new energy, and environmental applications.

Brand Portfolio
Company Brands
The Fenghong and Huate brands have long focused on organic bentonite markets, building technical depth and customer relationships. In 2011, their shareholders decided to combine operations under a complementary, collaborative strategy. Building on each brand's history, the company adopted a multi-brand model—Fenghong, Huate, Jingyi, and Clay—to serve different customer groups and application scenarios.
The four brands are both independent and complementary in market positioning and product-line layout. Core bases including Fenghong Tangpu, Huate Gaoyu, and Jingyi Northern factories support continuous supply, with annual capacity of about 50,000 tons of organic bentonite and 5,000 tons of lithium hectorite. The company continues a multi-brand, differentiated, high-quality strategy with stable capacity and flexible supply.
