Brief introduction

SMF-LV additive is a purified, nanometer modified and viscosity improved montmorillonite clay. It is off-white, soft, nonpoisonous and tasteless. Because of excellent expansibility, gel dispersing ability, suspension, thickening and thixotropic performance, it can be used as anti-settling agent, latex stabilizer and Rheology Modifier in water based system. Besides, it also has the property of good absorption, iron exchange and cohesive in water based system.

Pregel usage: SMF-LV is slowly added to water with 25-30℃ temperature with constant mixing, increase the mix speed to 1500-2000rpm for 20-30min to avoid clumping and reach full dispersing. Then place it for 8-12h for use. Put this gel into the whole system with constant mixing until complete dispersing (pre-dispersing concentration of montmorillonite clay in water is 8-15%). Using pregel has better performance than add powder directly.

Outer package is leather bag, with inner package of two layers of polyethylene film, or paper bag. Standard quantity is 25±0.25kg or customization. Stored in dry and ventilated places under the temperature of 0-30℃. Shelf life: 24monthes.
